Recently, a custom sputum cup production line built for our customer has completed the manufacturing of all machinery and molds, and has successfully entered the trial molding verification phase.
Sputum cup products require high standards in wall thickness uniformity, cup rim roundness, and sealing performance. The purpose of trial molding is to fully verify the compatibility between the machinery and molds before the equipment leaves our factory, ensuring that the customer can start stable production immediately after delivery.

During the trial molding process, we focused on the following key aspects:
A. Wall thickness uniformity: Thickness measurements were taken at multiple points on the cup body and bottom to ensure even material distribution and avoid weak spots that could lead to leakage.
B. Cup rim roundness and flatness: The cup rim was inspected for regularity and deformation to ensure proper sealing with the film lid.
C. Smooth demolding: The coordination between the mold ejection system and the machine was verified to ensure that cups demold smoothly without scratches or sticking.
D. Production efficiency: The line achieved a stable cycle time, meeting the customer's capacity requirements while maintaining product quality.
Trial molding results:
During continuous operation testing, the equipment ran smoothly with precise mold opening and closing. Randomly selected samples were inspected, and all dimensional indicators were within tolerance ranges. The cup surfaces were smooth, with no flow marks or bubbles.
Next steps:
After the trial molding is successfully completed, DOAN technical team will make final optimizations based on the trial molding data to ensure the entire production line is delivered to the customer in optimal condition.
